Course info
Society is changing rapidly. Individualisation, the increase in co- and dual-habitation, increasingly flexible career trajectories and greater personal mobility are all helping to overturn the 'traditional' lifecourse. In this Masters programme current understandings of the complex factors underlying key lifecourse tranisitions will be explored. These include the decision to leave home; partnership information and dissolution; child-bearing and child-rearing; employment and residential choices. A variety of optional advanced training will be given in the methods required to collect and analyse longitudinal data, including ethnography, participatory methods and survey analysis. The programme will conclude with a personal project providing the opportunity to pursue an in-depth research project of the student's choice. This is a new programme and subject to formal University approval.

How much will it cost?
Variable fees are applicable for full time and part time courses. These fees are subject to change, details are available from the provider.
