Course info
In the first semester, compulsory lecture courses are taken in all three branches of Chemistry. In the second semester, students choose lecture courses from a number of options depending on their interest. The remainder of the programme consists of an extended research project.

Entry Requirements
The normal entry requirement or international equivalent for this course is a first or second class Honours degree in Chemistry (or Chemistry with a second science e.g. Chemistry and Pharmacology) or an equivalent qualification. The qualifications of international students will be considered on an individual basis with advice, where appropriate, from IRRO. Work Experience: Candidates with three or more years experience of working in a relevant industry and a third class Honours degree will be considered for entry. All graduates of non-UK universities are required to provide evidence of satisfactory communications skills in English language. A typical requirement is an IELTS score of 6.5; TOEFL paper-based score of 570; TOEFL computer based score of 230; TOEFL internet-based score of 79-80.
